2nd Asia-Pacific Region System Dynamics Conference of the System Dynamics Society

The program committee seeks to popularize and extend systems thinking and System Dynamics modelling in the Asia-Pacific Region by facilitating interactions between practitioners from the region and around the world, introducing newcomers to the field, and keeping practitioners aware of current developments.

The conference will emphasize the public policy issues relating to sustainability, resilience, and human wellbeing of particular relevance to the region. Because of the Residential College 4’s sponsorship role, emphasis will also be given to the effective teaching of systems thinking and System Dynamics modelling as a part of general education curricula for upper level secondary school and for first- and second-year undergraduate students.

The conference program will consist of invited and contributed sessions, student presentations, and workshops demonstrating the state of the art in the theory and application of System Dynamics.
