PhD candidate Elie Daher from International Executive School, Strasbourg, will present research findings at the ICSB World Congress 2025 in Cairo, Egypt, November 25-27. His two studies employ predictive modeling techniques to examine workplace wellbeing factors within Egypt's hospitality industry.
Daher's first presentation, "Effects of Work-Life Balance on Job Satisfaction and Mental Health for Hospitality Workers in Egypt: Predictive Modelling," investigates how work-life balance factors influence employee satisfaction and mental health outcomes. Using statistical modeling approaches, the study provides quantitative insights into workplace dynamics that affect hospitality professionals across Egypt.
His second study, "Outcomes of Co-Worker Support on Job Satisfaction and General Health Among Female Hospitality Workers in Egypt: A Predictive Modelling Study," examines the specific impact of peer support systems on female employees. The research analyzes how colleague relationships and workplace support networks influence both job satisfaction and overall health outcomes for women working in Egypt's hospitality sector.
Both studies address important questions about employee wellbeing in Egypt's growing tourism industry. The research offers evidence-based insights that could inform management practices and policy decisions aimed at improving working conditions and employee retention in hospitality organizations.
The findings have practical applications for hospitality managers seeking to enhance workplace environments and support employee mental health through targeted interventions and improved organizational culture.
The ICSB World Congress brings together researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers from around the world to share knowledge about small business and entrepreneurship research, making it an ideal platform for presenting workplace dynamics research with international relevance.
