We are happy to announce that we have a new CEEMAN Champion! Dr. Shilpi Agarwal, Associate Professor and Program Director at Woxsen University, India, has been chosen as CEEMAN Responsible Management Educator of the Year.

We invite faculty members and researchers to showcase their work at a poster session related to the overall theme of the 31st CEEMAN Annual Conference: “Leadership for a Sustainable World”, taking place on 20-22 September 2023 in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

We are pleased to announce the winners of the 2023 Case Writing Competition. A total of 37 case studies were submitted this year from 12 countries. The aim of the CEEMAN & Emerald Case Writing Competition is to encourage and promote the development of high-quality teaching case material relevant for the realities of dynamic and emerging economies, and at the same time to promote the development of case-writing capabilities in those countries.

This week, the 23rd edition of IMTA successfully concluded at IEDC-Bled School of Management. 27 participants from 13 different countries joined us in Bled for just under two weeks to build upon their existing teaching experiences and learn how to continue to grow in their various roles as management educators.

We regretfully share that Prof. Dr. Boriss Kurovs, the founder, long-standing rector, and owner of RISEBA University of Applied Sciences, passed away on June 18, 2023 in Riga, Latvia.

This week, a diverse group of participants from 11 institutions and 7 countries successfully participated in the 19th edition of Program Management Seminar in Bled.

After two days of fruitful discussions, the first in-person meeting of the EQUATION consortium concluded today in Bled, Slovenia. Coordinated by CEEMAN, EQUATION is an ambitious Erasmus+ funded project that addresses gender equality in HEIs and the role of accreditation agencies on these processes.

We are delighted to announce that we will offer a bonus online session on the topic of ChatGPT exclusively for our PMS and IMTA 2023 participants. In this session, we will discuss the benefits of using ChatGPT in the classroom, share tips for getting the most out of this innovative tool, and answer your questions about how it works and what it can do. The session will take place online on 25 May 2023. It will be led by Prof. Nikos Mylonopoulos, Associate Professor of Digital Business at ALBA Graduate Business School at The American College of Greece.

30th CEEMAN Annual Conference entitled “The Future of Management Education - Understanding the Big Picture” was an absolute success and a celebration of 3 decades of CEEMAN activities as we were happy to welcome more than 80 participants from 26 countries at IEDC - Bled School of Management, host of this year’s conference.
