“New Horizons: Digital Economy and Responses to a Changing World”

Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu – National-Louis University is hosting the 14th International Scientific Conference “New Horizons: Digital Economy and Responses to a Changing World”, to be held on 11–12 June 2026 in Nowy Sącz, Poland, focusing on the digital economy, emerging technologies and global challenges.

Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu – National-Louis University (WSB-NLU) in Nowy Sącz, Poland, in cooperation with Oikos Institute – Research Center (Bijeljina) and academic and scientific partners from Portugal, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Slovenia and other countries, invites participants to the 14th International Scientific Conference “New Horizons: Digital Economy and Responses to a Changing World”, which will take place on 11–12 June 2026 at the WSB-NLU campus in Nowy Sącz. 

The conference is part of the NEW ECONOMY 2026 series and focuses on analysing economic transformations resulting from digital transformation. Its objective is to create an interdisciplinary platform for research, presentation of scientific results and exchange of experience among researchers, practitioners, experts and representatives of the public and private sectors. 

The conference programme includes papers and presentations addressing topics such as market transformation driven by digital technologies, digital inclusion and global inequalities, new models of work and the flexible economy, and the role of artificial intelligence in the contemporary economy. 

Plenary sessions and panel discussions will feature internationally recognised experts from academic institutions and universities around the world, including representatives of Portland State University (USA), Alma Mater Europaea (Slovenia), Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu – National Louis University (Poland), Doğuş University (Türkiye), and the University of National and World Economy (Bulgaria). 

The New Horizons conference provides a space for a deeper understanding of the impact of digital technologies on global economic systems and for developing practical responses to rapidly evolving socio-economic challenges. The organisers encourage the submission of paper proposals and active participation in discussions and accompanying workshop sessions.
