The 15th Cross-Cultural Business Conference 2026 takes place May 20–22, 2026 in Steyr, Austria. The call for papers and innovative formats is open. The conference offers double-blind review, publication opportunities, strong academic networking, and immersive sessions on research, teaching innovation, and digital transformation.

The Cross-Cultural Business Conference (CCBC) is the flagship international academic event of FH Upper Austria, Campus Steyr, and will take place for the 15th time from May 20–22, 2026, in Steyr, Austria. Over more than a decade, CCBC has built a strong reputation as a high-quality yet welcoming conference for university leaders, professors, researchers, and educators interested in responsible, cross-cultural, and practice-relevant management education.

CCBC 2026 invites contributions addressing cross-cultural business, international sales and marketing, leadership, sustainability, digital transformation, and innovative teaching and research approaches. The conference format reflects the values shared by the CEEMAN community: academic rigor combined with openness, experimentation, and real-world relevance. Submissions are intentionally flexible and include full papers, abstracts, work-in-progress, workshop proposals, teaching cases, and creative formats.

All papers undergo a double-blind peer-review process and are published in the official conference proceedings. Selected high-quality contributions will be recommended for publication in the Central European Business Review (Scopus-indexed) and in Marketing Science and Inspiration (indexed in EconBiz, EBSCO, and Google Scholar). Graduate and master’s students are explicitly encouraged to present their thesis work and benefit from structured feedback and publication pathways.

Beyond publication opportunities, CCBC is particularly valued for its strong networking effect. Each year, more than 100 participants engage in in-depth exchange that often leads to long-term collaborations in research projects, joint teaching initiatives, and international partnerships. Immersive formats, such as sessions on AI, digital tools, new research methods, and innovative pedagogy, create an interactive learning environment that goes beyond traditional conference settings.

Hosted in the historic town of Steyr, CCBC combines academic excellence with Austrian hospitality, offering an inspiring and personal atmosphere for collaboration, reflection, and community building.
