The event is co-organized by Polish Doctoral Schools at Kozminski University, Warsaw School of Economics, and the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, all of whom are members of EDAMBA.
This event is also supported by The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange - STER Programme Internationalisation of Doctoral Schools and will bring together managers, deans, directors of doctoral schools and experts involved in doctoral programmes across Europe.
The conference will focus on the role of doctoral education in serving society, emphasising the importance of interdisciplinary research, social engagement and innovation that goes beyond the traditional framework of the academic environment. It will be a unique opportunity to exchange experiences and best practices between leaders of doctoral programmes, deans, directors of doctoral schools and experts in the field of higher education from across Europe.
The conference programme will include inspiring lectures by Prof. Steve Fuller from the University of Warwick, Prof. Ulrich Hommel from EBS Business School and Prof. Ilona Świątek-Barylska from the University of Łódź, as well as panel sessions, presentations by the winners of the EDAMBA doctoral thesis competition and the EDAMBA General Assembly. The event is also an excellent opportunity for networking and building international relations in the academic community.
The conference fee is €190 for registration by 15 July 2025 or €235 after that date.
