The GMAC Masters Leadership Symposium is designed to help business school leaders anticipate the future of graduate business education by starting with the end in mind: the world of work. In a landscape reshaped by technology, AI, and shifting employer expectations, the value of the business master’s degree will increasingly be validated by recruiters and employers.

Structured around the candidate–student–graduate journey, the Symposium will explore how schools can align programs with market demand and graduate success. The Symposium will include expert voices and solution-focused case studies presented by business school leaders. Participants will also engage in Learning Team discussions to share challenges, best practices, and innovative approaches.

Key themes include:

  • Employers First: What skills and attributes recruiters value most in business master’s graduates, and how schools can strengthen employer validation of the degree.

  • Career Services 2.0: New models for supporting student employability, leveraging AI, and building stronger partnerships with recruiters.

  • Curriculum Innovation: How business schools are reimagining teaching and learning to equip graduates with future-ready skills and competencies.

  • Marketing & Admissions: Positioning and communicating the value of the business master’s degree in Europe, the United States, and beyond.

The Symposium will bring together leaders and practitioners to rethink the business master’s value proposition, ensuring that programs remain relevant, distinctive, and indispensable in an AI-transformed world.
