CEEMAN is pleased to share an invitation from our colleagues at the Antai College of Economics and Management (ACEM), Shanghai Jiao Tong University, to participate in the 11th International Business School Shanghai Conference (IBSSC), taking place on 21–23 October 2026 in Shanghai, China.

Held biennially since 2006, IBSSC has developed into a major dean-level gathering for business schools in the Asia-Pacific region. This year, the conference is expected to welcome around 200 dean-level participants from approximately 100 business schools across more than 40 countries and regions.

Coinciding with the 130th anniversary of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, the 2026 conference will focus on the theme “The Changing Role of Business Education.” Discussions will address how business education is responding to technological disruption, changes in the global economy and growing societal expectations.

Confirmed keynote speakers include Prof. Sarah Soule, Dean of Stanford Graduate School of Business; Prof. Jun Yang, Dean of Nanyang Business School; Prof. Xuan Tian, Dean of Guanghua School of Management, Peking University; Prof. Frederik Anseel, Dean of HKUST Business School; and Prof. David Bach, President of IMD.

For two decades, IBSSC has provided a platform for dialogue between Eastern and Western approaches to management and for strengthening international cooperation in business education.

CEEMAN members and partners interested in joining the conference are warmly encouraged to participate.
