“We are delighted to win this prestigious award. The competition enables the development of high-quality teaching cases with a focus on emerging markets. The purpose of this case study is to help students understand what it takes for an emerging market startup to succeed in developing economies. Kavak, a Mexican used-car platform reshaped the mobility sector in the Latin American and Middle Eastern regions with its unique value propositions and a successful global expansion strategy.
