The 30th CEEMAN EMERALD Case Writing Competition is open for submissions until April 15, 2024. There's an early submission deadline on February 29, 2024, with the chance for early feedback. A free case-writing webinar on February 7, 2024, will provide participants with valuable insights on how to develop a compelling case study for publication. The winners will be announced in June 2024.

The 30th CEEMAN EMERALD Case Writing Competition is officially open for submissions, offering case writers a unique opportunity to showcase their skills and contribute to the field of management education. The CEEMAN EMERALD Case Writing Competition invites scholars, educators, and practitioners worldwide to submit their teaching cases. Exclusive Early-Bird Feedback and Webinar Support: Lead judge will facilitate early-bird feedback for those authors who are able to submit by February 29th. In conjunction with the competition, CEEMAN and Emerald are excited to announce a free case-writing webinar titled "How to: Write a Successful Teaching Case". This informative session is scheduled for Wednesday, February 7, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM CET and will be conducted by Christopher Craig, an Associate Professor at Murray State University and the Editor-in-Chief of The CASE Journal.

The webinar will provide participants with valuable insights on how to develop a compelling case study for publication. Christopher Craig will share top tricks and tips to help writers avoid common pitfalls in case writing. The session will include a 15-minute Q&A segment, allowing attendees to ask questions and seek advice from the expert.

Additionally, during the webinar, Melissa Close, Emerald's Cases Commissioning Lead, will deliver a brief presentation on upcoming opportunities for publication within Emerald. This is a valuable opportunity for case authors to learn more about getting their work published in a reputable journal.
