The grand opening of the event began with a congratulatory speech from the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek.

He emphasized that AlmaU is one of the first universities focusing on business education and highlighted the significant contribution of the academic and teaching staff to the university's success. "AlmaU began its history in 1988 and has since become a symbol of progress and innovation in education. This journey has been filled with challenges and scientific discoveries, and the success of AlmaU is the result of the outstanding professionalism of its staff," noted the minister. Expressing gratitude to the university for its contribution to the training of qualified specialists, Sayasat Nurbek emphasized AlmaU's role in the country's economic development and support for domestic science.

In his memorable speech, President Asylbek Kozhakhmetov shared not only the history of AlmaU but also interesting aspects of his childhood, the establishment of the university, and its mission in society. This fact added even more emotional depth and importance to the date.
