AlmaU Among the Leaders in Five Educational Fields in the NCE "Atameken" Ranking

The National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken" has published the 2025 ranking of educational programs, in which Almaty Management University has been recognized as a leader in several academic disciplines. The ranking aims to provide key stakeholders—applicants, parents, employers, and educational institutions—with useful and objective information.

The assessment covered 2,051 undergraduate programs from 95 universities, based on graduate career prospects (49%), program quality (24%), student achievements (16%), and institutional performance (11%). Over 100 industry experts participated in the evaluation.

AlmaU – No.1 in Hospitality Education

AlmaU ranks first in Restaurant and Hospitality Management, preparing professionals for international enterprises and entrepreneurial ventures. The School of Hospitality and Tourism emphasizes practical learning, industry collaborations, and dual education. Students gain hands-on experience with leading restaurant brands and hotel chains and secure jobs within 2.5 months after graduation.

AlmaU in the TOP 5 for Multiple Disciplines

AlmaU was also recognized among the top five universities in:

  • Public Relations (2nd place) – The School of Media and Film improved its ranking by four positions. Developed with PR industry leaders, this program ensures that graduates find jobs within three months at top companies like Air Astana, AIESEC, Parmigiano Group, MOST Media, and leading PR agencies.
  • Law (4th place) – The School of Politics and Law advanced three places. Graduates secure jobs within two months, working as corporate lawyers, legal advisors, and in government agencies.
  • Urban Studies and City Management (4th place) – A debut ranking for AlmaU’s School of Management and Urban Studies Center, this program equips students with smart city planning skills, leading to employment within four months.
  • Logistics (5th place) – AlmaU’s School of Management moved up one spot. Graduates find jobs within two months, working in private companies, government agencies, and research organizations.
