Bialystok University of Technology has achieved remarkable success in the QS World University Rankings: Europe 2026, emerging as the top university in Poland for internationalisation and academic mobility, demonstrating a strong commitment to global cooperation and appeal to students across Europe.

Bialystok University of Technology has achieved a remarkable success in the latest edition of the QS World University Rankings: Europe 2026, becoming the top university in Poland for international student exchange. 

In this year’s ranking, the university placed 1st in Poland in two key international mobility indicators: Outbound Exchange Students and Inbound Exchange Students. These results highlight the university’s strong commitment to international cooperation and its growing attractiveness for students from across Europe. 

In the overall European ranking, Bialystok University of Technology was placed in the 561–570 band. The university also improved its position in the Eastern Europe ranking, moving up three places to 73rd. 

The results confirm the university’s dynamic international development and its position as the leading higher education institution in the Podlaskie region, actively strengthening global academic partnerships and mobility opportunities for students and staff. 

The QS Europe 2026 ranking, prepared by QS Quacquarelli Symonds, evaluated 958 universities from 42 countries, making it the most extensive edition of the ranking so far. Within this highly competitive group, Bialystok University of Technology stood out particularly for its achievements in internationalisation and academic mobility.
