In the newly establishing Graduate School of Business, HSE University (Russia), the International Office takes action to boost internationalization of business education by spreading the school's international reach and the partners network as well as supporting international on-campus initiatives.

September 2020 will be marked a milestone in business education at HSE University, when the Graduate School of Business will be established to host 9,000 students from all over the world. International mindset will be one of the defining features of the School and will be deeply incorporated in its entire ecosystem and infrastructure. The main driving force behind the vigorous process of internationalization will be the International Office of GSB, which already works with numbers of initiatives and opens up opportunities for students and faculty.

The GSB International Office coordinates student exchange and dual degree programs as well as faculty mobility, and constantly explores new formats of international cooperation in education and research. In addition to exchanges and dual degrees, the IO generates opportunities for students and faculty to participate in international summer and winter schools, joint degree programs, short-term partner projects – just to name a few. Hence, the expansion of the network of partner institutions is becoming one of the main priorities of the IO for the nearest future.

On campus, the IO systematically implements incremental changes to, on the one hand, better facilitate international students and, on the other, provide local students with international experience in a home setting. Besides bringing in its own initiatives, e.g. the Buddy system, GSB Ambassadors, Teaching assistants, scholarships, etc., the IO supports internationally oriented student projects that tend to cover aspects of internationalization in a student-to-student format. Combined with the invaluable teaching and experiences of the faculty members, the efforts of the IO Team contribute to preparation of globally oriented leaders of tomorrow.
