The project, financed by Polish Ministry of Economic Development, Labor and Technology is realized by a consortium of the following entities: Wrocław University of Economics and Business, Wrocław University of Science and Technology, Wrocław Technology Park, Balluff Sp. z o.o., TestArmy Group. As a part of the project, a center of expert, consulting and implementation services has been established in the area of innovative technologies, business solutions and competences necessary for efficient development and competition in the fourth industrial revolution. The overriding goal of Level 4.0 | DIH is to transfer knowledge and spread the idea of Industry 4.0 among local enterprises, business environment units, research groups, governmental and educational institutions. The infrastructure belonging to the consortium is used to conduct new research, test new solutions, improve existing processes, as well as to conduct practical training and improving the competences of employees.
The consortium specializes in additive technologies, industrial automation, technical and management education, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, cloud computing technologies and the development of business innovations. Its main goal is to support organizations and enterprises from all industries in increasing market competitiveness through the implementation of innovative solutions and the latest information technologies. Thanks to the funds obtained from the Ministry of Economic Development, Labor and Technology, the consortium members provide also expert know-how to the interested enterprises, regardless of their current level of technology application. Through demonstrations, trainings, educational, consulting and implementation activities, they show companies how to improve operations and productivity through the use of additive technologies (3D printing), learning algorithms (AI), virtual reality, cloud computing solutions, industrial internet of things or modern solutions in the field of automation and robotics, and cybersecurity.
