The Faculty of Engineering Management at Bialystok University of Technology is a partner in the international project EQUALITY – Enhancing Quality Assurance in Higher Education, implemented under Erasmus+ Programme Key Action 2, focused on enhancing quality assurance in higher education institutions and fostering a sustainable culture of excellence in teaching, learning, and institutional practices.

The Faculty of Engineering Management at Bialystok University of Technology is actively involved as a partner in the international Erasmus+ project EQUALITY – Enhancing Quality Assurance in Higher Education, implemented under Erasmus+ Programme Key Action 2 – Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education (KA220-HED). The project runs from 1 September 2024 to 31 August 2026.

The initiative brings together universities and organizations from across Europe to strengthen quality assurance systems in higher education and promote a sustainable culture of quality in teaching and learning. By developing innovative tools and frameworks, the project aims to support universities in implementing transparent, efficient, and systemic quality assurance procedures.

As part of the project, the consortium will develop several key outputs designed to support higher education institutions in improving their internal quality systems. These include:

  • a Quality Assurance Management System for Higher Education,

  • the E-QUALITY digital platform, which will collect and integrate quality assurance methods and evaluation results,

  • a training programme and MOOC course for quality assurance managers and administrators.

The Faculty of Engineering Management plays a key role in developing training and capacity-building solutions for higher education professionals. The Faculty is responsible for designing and developing the project’s MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) dedicated to quality assurance managers, coordinators, and university administrators. The course will provide practical knowledge, tools, and good practices to support the effective implementation of quality assurance processes in higher education.

The international consortium includes universities and organizations from Greece, Poland, Italy, Bulgaria, and Cyprus, combining academic expertise and practical experience in higher education quality management. Through collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the development of innovative digital solutions, the project aims to support institutions in enhancing the effectiveness and transparency of their quality assurance processes.
