February 1, 2020 the Self-Assessment Report, prepared in accordance with the EFMD standards, was submitted to the Accreditation Committee. The report was prepared under the supervision of Professor Katarzyna Kuziak (Project Director) and Professor Magdalena Chmielowiec-Lewczuk (Project Coordinator).
The EFMD Accreditation confirms the high international standards of the program and very good relations with the environment. It also emphasizes how important it is for the University to implement the main pillars related to the accreditation process, which are: internationalization, corporate perspective and the ERS standards.
Thanks to this accreditation, we've found ourselves in a prestigious global group among 91 institutions (from 36 countries). This elite accreditation is held by 122 programs. Currently, we are the only finance program in Poland accredited by EFMD, as well as accredited by ACCA and CFA (triple accreditation).
Professor Bogusława Drelich-Skulska, Vice-Rector for Research and International Cooperation at the WUEB:
- We are very proud to receive EFMD accreditation for Finance Program at the undergraduate level and re-accreditation for Finance at the graduate level. Thus, the Finance Program offered at the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business is the only financial program in Poland that has EFMD accreditation at both levels of education. We are grateful for the assessment and recommendations of the accreditation committee, which confirmed the high quality of education and indicated directions for further improvement. This significant achievement is the result of the joint effort and dedication of our academic teachers, administrative staff and students, as well as the support of external stakeholders of the university. EFMD accreditation provides our program with international recognition and increases its attractiveness.
