In a recent interview published on TopMBA.com, Academic Dean of the EU Business School Barcelona campus Christine Clarke commented on the importance of family businesses in today’s working world and explained how studying an MBA at European University can contribute to success within this niche.

According to the article, 70% of all businesses are family owned, accounting for more than 60% of non-government GDP. Knowing how to navigate and succeed within such companies, learning how to work with family members and meeting the challenges posed by such a set-up are vital to ensuring the enterprise’s viability. Similarly, an entrepreneurial mindset and experience both developing ideas and seeing them through are instrumental in ensuring future success within family businesses.

The MBA in Entrepreneurship at EU Business School provides students with the framework and skills necessary to become entrepreneurial leaders and managers in any organizational setting. The Bachelor of Arts in Family Business Management offers EU Business School students, many of whom will then go on to work at or lead their family businesses, particular insight into this very specific aspect of the global business world.
