EU Business School offers a Bachelor’s in Sports Management program. In a recent article, EU Business School professor Dr. Begoña González Otero explains how studying for a degree in sports management provides a solid foundation for future sport managers.

The 2014 Winter Olympics came to an end on February 23; the Paralympics conclude on Sunday, March 16. The games have demonstrated just how many facets there are to the world of sport, and how many people are involved, particularly at such an impressive, worldwide level.

EU Business School (formerly European University) offers a Bachelor’s in Sports Management. In a recent article, EU Business School professor Dr. Begoña González Otero explains how studying for a degree in sports management provides a solid foundation for future sport managers. The course curricula of the programs educate students about the industry and provide specific training in the spheres of finances, law, sponsorship and marketing. Dr. González Otero also touches on the subject of gender in what is primarily a male-dominated field, explaining how the gap is starting to be filled for the first time, thanks to increasing support of women in sports management.
