Responsible Research for Business and Management (RRBM) is dedicated to inspiring, encouraging, and supporting credible and useful research in the business and management disciplines. It is a virtual organization associating universities and business schools from around the world, with the support of accreditation centers, including AACSB, EFMD, PRME, Business and Society Program Aspen Institute, GRLI.
Similarly, the FME's motto is "Navigating through the complex world". Being aware of the pivotal role of higher education in disseminating and mainstreaming responsible thinking within society, the Faculty has been teaching and researching social responsibility as well as integrating it into its daily operations since its very beginning. The aim is to make future managers, leaders, politicians, academics, and citizens able to face a wide range of economic and social issues in future personal and professional life.
FME supports, recognizes, and rewards the seven principles of RRBM: Service to Society, Valuing Both Basic and Applied Contributions, Valuing Plurality and Multidisciplinary Collaboration, Sound Methodology, Stakeholder Involvement, Impact on Stakeholders, and Broad Dissemination of Knowledge.
The research area is important to FME since the aim is to deliver up-to-date knowledge to the students. Consequently, FME cares about the quality of methods and results. As a research university, they also engage students in our research projects, so young people are prepared to face problems with an accurate research approach.
FME's research interests focus on important and relevant topics and projects. »We engage in regional and international research that addresses social, cultural, and business problems. We develop our interdisciplinary networks to apply different but often complementary competencies and interests of our stakeholders. Not only that, but we promote basic and applied research, especially outlining research ethics and sound methodology. We want our faculty, Ph.D. candidates, and graduate students to conduct high-quality research.«
Cooperation with RRBM is based on the exchange of experiences and best practices, through the publication of studies (reports, case studies), information about meetings, events where issues related to, among others, conducting research on social impact or using reliable methods. The main platform for the exchange of knowledge is the RRBM website.
In addition, partners can participate in events organized through RRBM - including in methodology workshops for Ph.D. students and young scientists who want to conduct research important for the world.
