CEEMAN is proudly presenting a new member of our community, joining CEEMAN as an institutional member this summer. GISMA Business School, the German International Graduate School of Management and Administration, was founded on the initiative of local companies and former German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder in 1999. Since 2013, GISMA belongs to the international education group Global University Systems.

At GISMA,

  • individuals are educated to be responsible members of the global business community. GISMA stands for practice-oriented and inspiring management education that enables students to be engaged in life-long learning and synergizing relevant academic science and practice
  • they aim to be a school for businesses and employers, generating global insights, adjusting them to local conditions, and vice versa
  • they focus on developing individuals into effective change agents for both the German and the international economy

GISMA Business School offers their programmes in Hannover, Berlin, Hamburg and London; planning to further expand beyond Germany and the U.K in the immediate future.

The school offers international degree programmes, mainly on a graduate level, with our acclaimed partners Grenoble Ecole de Management, Kingston University and the University of Law. The range of programmes is wide and includes MBA, MIB and specialised MSc programmes.

At Hannover location, they are about to become accredited as a University of Applied Sciences and will start offering their own degree programmes as of April 2020. These include an Executive MBA (part-time), an MSc in International Agribusiness and an MSc in Leadership for Digital Transformation.

As a University of Applied Sciences, GISMA is in a unique position to bring together academia and business to offer real practice-oriented learning. They have selected their faculty not only on their academic expertise but specifically based on their experience in the corporate world to ensure GISMA can offer education with impact.
