In February 2026, Prof. Loreta Tauginienė visited the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) University and the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), India, under the Global Faculty Programme, a flagship initiative central to the internationalisation vision of KIIT University & KISS. The programme is designed to bring globally distinguished scholars to campus for structured, interdisciplinary engagement that enriches teaching, research and institutional dialogue.

Prof. Tauginienė’s week-long engagement was carefully structured across multiple schools including Law, Management, Liberal Studies, Public Policy and Mass Communication. Her lectures and interactions addressed critical contemporary themes including university governance and academic ethics, artificial intelligence policy for academia, ethics infrastructure in higher education, AI in qualitative research data processing, digital ethics in citizen science, AI in public sector research and academic integrity in media practice. In addition to student sessions, she engaged with faculty members and met with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), reinforcing institutional conversations on research integrity, AI governance, and ethical leadership. Her engagement at KIIT University aligned closely with the institutions’ emphasis on responsible innovation, governance frameworks and ethical academic practice.

The Global Faculty Programme at KIIT & KISS goes beyond conventional guest lectures. It is designed as a platform for sustained academic exchange enabling multi-school interaction, fostering curriculum enrichment, encouraging collaborative research pathways and strengthening institutional capacity in emerging areas of global relevance. Through structured scheduling and cross-disciplinary participation, the programme ensures that visiting scholars meaningfully engage with students, doctoral researchers, faculty and academic leadership.

KIIT University is a member of the CEEMAN network and through its membership, it has reached out to eminent scholars and fellow member institutions, strengthening the Global Faculty Programme through high-impact international engagements. CEEMAN plays an important enabling role by serving as a valuable international connector, facilitating cross-regional academic exchange that complements the structured vision and implementation led by KIIT University.

Prof. Tauginienė’s visit stands as a strong example of how the Global Faculty Programme at KIIT University fosters meaningful, impact-oriented international collaboration that contributes to institutional development, research integrity and the advancement of globally relevant management education.
