During the first week of IMTA, the participants will discuss general aspects of a teacher’s profession, such as:
- Teaching philosophies, approaches and techniques
- Assessment of student learning
- Technology-enabled teaching&learning
- Course design principles for different audiences
- Teaching and learning with cases
- Pedagogical foundations of interactive learning methodologies
- Preparing a case teaching session and managing the discussion
- Developing a case teaching plan
- Career challenges and dilemmas regarding balance
- Case research and writing: principles and processes
- Case research and writing: experience sharing
During the second week of IMTA, participants will work in smaller groups to gain feedback from faculty and peers regarding their teaching strengths and improvement opportunities while tailoring learning experiences to meet the specific requirements of particular academic disciplines:

- Marketing Management
- Strategic Management
- Leading Change
With the 2018 generation, IMTA will have more than 600 alumni in 165 institutions and 51 countries around the world. It has profound impact not only on individual careers of its participants, but also on the overall quality of teaching and learning experiences in participating institutions. IMTA alumni platform is also a powerful network for further professional development and international collaboration.
