We are pleased to share with you the India Trek, a one-of-a-kind, immersion program hosted by the KISS Foundation and subsidised by KIIT University. Designed for international students and alumni from top public and private universities around the world, the India Trek offers an unparalleled opportunity to engage with India’s diverse development landscape.

Thoughtfully curated to offer a dual perspective - from the corridors of power in New Delhi to the grassroots innovation ecosystem of Bhubaneswar, Odisha, the Trek provides a deeply enriching and holistic view of India’s socio-economic fabric. Participants engage with policymakers, social entrepreneurs, Indigenous leaders, and innovators while also exploring the transformative work of KISS, the world’s largest Indigenous residential university.

Since its inception in March 2024, the India Trek has already hosted nearly 200 students from leading institutions such as Harvard, MIT, Oxford, and Virginia Tech. The program blends academic exchange, cultural immersion, and community engagement, creating an intellectually rich and emotionally resonant experience.

Aligned with India’s National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which emphasizes internationalisation and experiential learning, the India Trek serves as a bridge between cultures and a catalyst for global collaboration
