
The Conference was attended by 266 people from 21 countries, prominent foreign speakers, and representatives from local and foreign businesses, government, leading scientists and experts from various fields of entrepreneurship, economics and business education. 105 presentations and speeches were made during conference, including video greetings from international partners from USA, Canada, France and Bangladesh.
On the first day, the Conference opening was held by Erbol Orynbaev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, , Timur Nazkhanov, Vice President of the National Economic Chamber of Kazakhstan “Atameken Union”, Azat Peruashev, a member of the Majilis Parliament, DBA student at IAB, Virginijus Kundrotas, President of BMDA, Sergey Myasoedov, President of RABE and Armanzhan Baitasov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of “TAN” media group, Founder of Forbes Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of IAB.
The plenary session was focused on the overview of prospects for entrepreneurship development in the modern world, while the panel discussion was dedicated to the process and ecosystem of entrepreneurship in modern world.

The first day is also marked with the presentation of two books that were translated and published in Kazakh and Russian languages for the first time: W. Chan Kim & Renee A. Mauborgne. Blue Ocean Strategy. Kazakh edition. Almaty: IAB, 2013 and Eric G. Flamholtz & Yvonne Randle. Growing Pains: Transitioning from Entrepreneurship to a Professionally Managed Firm, 4th edition. Russian edition. Almaty: IAB, 2013.
Day two was focused more on business education, in particular, the plenary session was about management education in emerging world. Introductory Seminar by EFMD on international accreditation for business schools: EPAS / EDAF took place that day too.
The prominent speakers from around the world, invited for the first time to Kazakhstan, took part in discussing a number of issues that were split into 10 sections over the two-day conference programme: entrepreneurship development in Kazakhstan, innovation and entrepreneurship, institutional and corporate entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship: trends and growth prospects, current trends in economic policy in developed and emerging markets, business education for entrepreneurs, business education: quality, accreditation, rankings, challenges in public policy: educational, institutional and personnel aspects, family, women and youth entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial universities.

To celebrate the E’World Conference success participants gathered at the Gala dinner. During the Gala dinner IAB team thanked sponsors, co-organizers, supporting agencies and conference staff for their invaluable contribution to the Conference, IAB friends for their long-term dedication and support and keynote speakers and participants for finding time in their busy schedules to join us and share their inspiring and provoking perspectives. It was full of national music, dance and delicious food.
Truly these two days are memorable to everyone who somehow contributed to the success. I trust the programme of events has provided a level of inspiration and motivation that encourage introducing new ideas and thinking.
