International Conference on Dietary Supplements Challenges and Chances

On November 18-19, 2021, the "International Conference on Dietary Supplements - challenges and chances" conference was organized at the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business.



It is an international on-line forum for scientists, entrepreneurs, business support organizations, experts, young researchers, education scientists, technologists and food industry representatives to debate on the latest scientific developments in the field of dietary supplements and novel food.

The conference was attended by many renowned scientists, experts and entrepreneurs. Keynote speakers included: Patrick Coppens (Director Regulatory and Scientific Affairs Food Supplements Europe), Marija Dundovic (Head of Laboratory for Human Reproduction and Assisted Reproductive Techniques at Clinical Hospital Center Osijek, Croatia), Ines Banjari, PhD (Associate Professor at JJ Strossmayer University of Osijek, Croatia , Faculty of Food Technology), Jessica Michelson (Senior Manager EU-JAPAN CENTER for Industrial Cooperation), Marta Łanoch (lawyer, expert in food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics law) and Bartosz Demianiuk (Chairman of The Polish Council for Supplements and Nutritional Foods ( KRSiO, Warsaw, Poland), Board Member of The European Federation of Associations of Health Product Manufacturers (EHPM, Brussels, Belgium)).

During the conference, many important topics were discussed, including good practices in dietary supplements marketing, mutual recognition of goods, dietary supplements - legal changes and their consequences or innovative forms of dietary supplements.
