Looking back at 2020, kmbs shares some of the business school achievements during the challenging year.

The very purpose of business education is to accelerate companies' founders' and executives' personal and professional growth.

kmbs has 3 key directions, MBA, Strategic and Executive Development programs that propose participants not only fulfill their potential but to shoot at a more ambitious goal — drive positive transformations in Ukraine on entrepreneurial, governmental, cultural, and other levels.

Looking back at 2020, we are glad to share a perspective of this challenging year from the business school's participants, Alumni, and the team's point of view.

First of all, we are proud that despite complicated circumstances, 50 executives and business founders started their MBA learning path, and 62 participants successfully graduated from 2-year transformational programs. For our MBA community, this was a fruitful year. For instance, participants discovered Malaga, Dnipro, and Kharkiv through the executive study tours with a Quadruple Helix model frame. They have learned how key players from business, education, culture, and civil society interact with each other and influence cities' development.

Secondly, the notable moment to mention is the launch of a scholarship program for executives who solve social issues in Ukraine. To empower them, kmbs founded The Scholarship Program covering 75% of the Executive MBA's educational cost. Already twice during last year, social, charitable, and cultural organizations' leaders joined the kmbs MBA programs.

The achievements of the Strategic department in 2020 strengthened kmbs dedication to the positive transformation of Ukraine. 56 change-makers from the School for Strategy Architects and Strategic Leadership Program in the Security and Defence Sector of Ukraine presented their projects and successfully graduated. The Strategic team also designed the new program for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, enrolling 35 representatives of the defence sector.

Next worth sharing is the results of the Executive Development team. They adapted to new challenges and launched 55 programs in an offline, online, and hybrid learning format. Consequently, 1148 Ukrainian managers boosted their skills during short- and mid-term education.

Summing up the 2020 year for kmbs, it was full of surprises, yet uncovered new evolving tendencies in business education, speed up necessary changes, highlighted the importance of being resilient and continuously develop in a fast-changing world.
