On December 11, 2021 AlmaU hosted the official presentation of the book “Searching for an effective model of Kazakhstani University”, collectively written by authors from 12 Kazakhstani universities and published by AlmaU. The book is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The book is composed of 11 chapters and include Kazakhstani university cases and professional overview by outstanding international experts. The idea was inspired by the book "New American University” by Arizona State University (ASU) 16th President Michael M. Crow.

“We wanted to give not just a theoretical description, but to find university cases that prove the issues that we raise. In addition, we wanted to show that our universities have achieved good results for 30 years” said the president of AlmaU, Dr Assylbeck Kozhakhmetov.
