In November 2019, the new format of the Conference was launched at Kyiv-Mohyla Business School.
Context Talks emerged as a platform for meaningful discussion about the specific context in which Ukrainian companies exist as well as finding new solutions for challenges they face.
The first time Conference focused on business models of agricultural companies acknowledging the revolutionary changes that occur in this sphere in Ukraine. More than 70 executives and owners gathered together to consider the main drivers of such changes, such as the influence of the Internet of Things (IoT), the use of Big Data to increase business efficiency, as well as cross-industry technology in manufacturing and other phenomena.
One of the main questions addressed during the event was: what should the company do in the 21st century to cope with challenges and be the player on the market?
kmbs invited stakeholders from business and government, as well as school's professors to share their perspective on the topic.
After discussion, participants agreed on the importance of implementing sustainable development goals in the company's operations and creating value for the consumer. Also, the key challenge in implementing innovative business models and digital solutions was named the speed of change.
The second Context Talks conference will be dedicated to the Logistics and international possibilities of Ukraine in this field and will be held in March.
