The Faculty of Engineering Management at Bialystok University of Technology has received a prestigious distinction from the Polish Accreditation Committee (PKA). The university’s Logistics programme has been awarded the Certificate of Excellence in Education in the category “Open to the World – Excellence in International Cooperation.”
The “Open to the World” category highlights programmes that actively develop international cooperation by offering opportunities such as student and staff mobility, courses delivered in foreign languages, joint educational initiatives with international partners, and participation in international research and educational projects.
An important factor in receiving the certificate was the programme’s international accreditations, including accreditation from the Accreditation Committee of Polish Technical Universities (KAUT) and the prestigious EUR-ACE® Label. The programme also holds certification from the European Logistics Association, confirming that graduates acquire competencies aligned with the European system of logistics professional certification.
The distinction recognizes the Logistics programme (Bachelor’s and Master’s level) delivered by the Faculty of Engineering Management, which has been educating future logistics specialists since 2008 and has developed a strong international profile. Students of Logistics receive a comprehensive education covering key logistics processes, including procurement, production, transport, warehousing, customer service, and packaging management. The first-cycle programme provides an engineering degree, which can be further developed through second-cycle studies with a practical profile.
The Certificate of Excellence was granted by the Presidium of the Polish Accreditation Committee on 26 February 2026 and is awarded only to study programmes that demonstrate outstanding educational practices and measurable achievements of students and graduates.
