MIM-Kyiv Presents at Harvard

On December 7 – 15, MIM-Kyiv presented events with the social impact at the annual MOC Network Conference held by the Institute for Competitiveness at the Harvard Business School. This year it was an online event.

In 2020 MIM-Kyiv chaired the European Chapter of MOC. Vyacheslav Pokotylo, Vice President of the MIM-Kyiv and the representative to the Network presented MIM-Kyiv initiatives with impact.

Annual Facing the Future Educational Forum was one of the year’s highlights. Although the event was held online, it brought together many prominent scholars, business people, experts, opinion leaders, and statesmen. Prof. Michael Porter, who is one of the most influential thinkers of today, the most cited author in business and economics, and the Director of Harvard’s ISC delivered the keynote speech.

Assisting the development of the human capital of the public sector is MIM-Kyiv’s way to contribute to the social development of Ukraine. As part of this initiative, MIM-Kyiv conducted its third program for the National Bank of Ukraine young managers. The microeconomic level of competitiveness was one of the most important elements of the program.

Admitting public servants to MBA programs is a very efficient way to establish the dialogue between the public and private sectors. Such dialogue enriches both parties and enhances the business climate.

The GNR.NEXT program was one of the most important initiatives. This online program with the social development focus targeted young public servants, social entrepreneurs, and representatives of business associations and NGOs from the Ukrainian regions. The AMBA & BGA Excellence Awards shortlisted the program in the BGA Business School Impact category.
