Nowadays, universities need to be flexible and responsive in order to educate attractive employees for the rapidly changing international labor market. The University of Economics and Human Sciences in Warsaw follows the latest trends and every year introduces new degree programmes making them available for students from all over the world. In 2020 there were 7 degree programmes offered and that number has now risen to 22. The offer was enriched with Cybersecurity, New Media and Public Relations, amongst many more. Moreover, the UEHS proudly announces that it has become the 1st private university in Poland which offers Pharmacy degree programme.
The educational offer development has been reflected in the level of candidates’ interest as the number of the UEHS students has doubled in the last 3 years. As a result of that, in October 2023 the UEHS is starting new highly attractive degree programmes, among others: Social Media and Digital Marketing, Cognitive Science and a new major: Game Design as well as new MBA programmes:
- MBA in Luxury Management
- MBA in Cybersecurity and Compliance
- MBA in International Business
By the decision of Ministry of Education and Science, the UEHS achieved a high scientific category of B+ in Economics and Finance, Law, Political Science and Public Administration and category A in Psychology. The evaluation was based on the scientific achievements of all research and teaching staff at the University. The following aspects were also taken into account:
- financial effects of the conducted research and development works;
- the influence of scientific activity on the functioning of society and the economy.
As a result of this evaluation, the University has been granted full academic rights, in particular the right to confer doctoral and post-doctoral degrees in social sciences in above mentioned disciplines.
Taking on new challenges, the UEHS is currently applying to the Ministry of Education and Science for authorization regarding running the following programmes: MA in English Philology, MA in Italian Philology, MA in Dietetics, BA in Spanish Philology.
