This year’s call includes opportunities to serve on the Thematic Committees, the Conference Programme Committee, and the EAIE Board. These positions provide a valuable platform for professionals to actively contribute to European discussions, help define professional standards, and support collaboration across the international higher education community.
Participation in EAIE governance and committees plays a meaningful role in strengthening cooperation across institutions and countries. These volunteer roles allow experts to share their knowledge, influence strategic initiatives, and help guide conversations around the evolving landscape of higher education internationalisation.
Increasing representation from Central and Eastern Europe in these structures is particularly important. Greater participation from professionals in the region can ensure that the diverse institutional contexts, experiences, and perspectives of Central and Eastern European institutions are reflected in European-level discussions and initiatives. Strengthening this representation will contribute to a more balanced and inclusive dialogue across the sector.
Experts from Central Europe with experience in international education, academic cooperation, or institutional development are encouraged to consider applying and contributing their perspectives to the broader European community.
