High-level doctoral program for managers and executives gets off to a good start: decision makers from around the globe gain from the innovative combination of academic rigor and practical relevance.

EU Business School and the Geneva Centre for Human Rights Advancement and Global Dialogue have signed an MoU to promote human rights in the Arab region. The MoU marks a step forward for both of these leading organizations in their quest to further human rights through research and advanced educational programs.

On October 21, Haining International Campus of Zhejiang University was officially put into use. To celebrate the grand opening of this new campus, International Higher Education Forum was organized by Zhejiang University and International Education Committee, China Society of Educational Development Strategy.

On September 27 a Gala reception was held in the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) to celebrate the Association of MBA’s (AMBA) accreditation obtained by the Graduate School of Corporate Management (GSCM). AMBA is the leading Association of business education in the world and RANEPA’s long-term partner. In 2017 AMBA celebrated its 50th Anniversary, and its accreditation is the highest international assessment of the quality of post-graduate programmes. Only 12 business schools are accredited by AMBA in Russia. GSCM RANEPA successfully passed the AMBA accreditation for the second time for a period of 5 years “without conditions”. For the first time the School was accredited by AMBA in 2014 (for 3 years).

The 4th Lead4Skills research project meeting took place at RISEBA University in Riga on 18 and 20 of October and gathered participants from Lithuania, Hungary, Estonia, Poland, Slovenia and Latvia.

This year “RISEBA” University of Business, Arts and Technology celebrates its 25th anniversary. The big celebration began on 19 October, welcoming 8 partner institutions from 7 countries as participants of the international conference “Best Practices in Management Education”, which was organised within an international project “Lead4Skills”.

Prof. Danica Purg, CEEMAN president, was recognized by RISEBA University and awarded with a Professor Honoris Causa for advancement of business and management education in Central and Eastern Europe and other dynamic societies, instilling high educational standards by believing that only the best is good enough; for passionate promotion of responsible leadership, creative approach to education and, through her innovative concept of Art in Leadership that bases the strategic development on synergies between business and art.

We are pleased to announce that International Quality Accreditation was awarded to the School of Management at Zhejiang University (hereinafter: ZJU-SOM). This is the first management education institution in China that has acquired CEEMAN International Quality Accreditation. ZJU-SOM was also the first management education institution in China that gained AMBA accreditation (in 2006). At present, ZJU-SOM is accredited also by other two major international accreditation institutions (AACSB and EQUIS), and by domestic accreditation institution (CAMEA).

CEEMAN is very proud to announce that International Management Institute (hereinafter: MIM-Kyiv) has acquired International Quality Re-Accreditation status for additional six years. Apart from the national accreditation, MIM-Kyiv has been maintaining external accreditation practices since 2004 when the initial CEEMAN International Quality Accreditation (IQA) accreditation was awarded. MIM-Kyiv was re-accredited by CEEMAN in 2011, and in 2015 the MBA portfolio obtained AMBA initial accreditation.

On the occasion of the 4th Academy of International Business AIB-CEE Chapter Conference, hosted by the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Economics, CEEMAN awarded two IMTA scholarships for best paper and for highly commended paper.
