We are pleased to announce that Board of European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) on 30 November 2016 approved CEEMAN IQA’s request to become Affiliate Member of ENQA.

Mr. Nikos Koumettis, President of Central & Eastern Europe Business Unit for The Coca-Cola Company, based in Athens, has joined CEEMAN Board to replace Frank Molthan, General Manager of the Coca-Cola Erfrischungsgetränke AG.

Over the past several years Germany has become a global destination for MBA students. An increasing number of young bachelor’s graduates would like to study management in Germany. To ensure that applicants, especially international ones, correctly discern between the approximately 500 MBA programs in the German-speaking world, ESMT Berlin, Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management, Mannheim Business School, and WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management have joined forces as the MBA Alliance Germany.

We are pleased to announce that CEEMAN has been accepted as a Full Member of the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE). INQAAHE, established in 1991, is a world-wide association of over 200 Quality Assurance Agencies (QAA) in higher education.

Early registrations for IMTA-International Management Teachers Academy and Program Management Seminar are currently available. Plan to send candidates for both programs and register them before 21 December 2016 to receive additional 20% reduction on the early-bird fee for one participant in the Program Management Seminar.

At the last EQUAL Board meeting that was organized and hosted by RISEBA University on 25 October 2016 in Riga, new Chair and Vice-Chair of EQUAL Board were elected. Professor Eric Waarts (VSNU) was elected as Chair and Professor Jérôme Rive (IAE France) was elected as Vice-Chair of EQUAL Board.

Hult International Business School (including Ashridge), IE Business School and The Open University Business School have been recently certified by EOCCS, establishing the community of EOCCS Certified online courses.

EFMD is happy to announce that the EPAS Accreditation Board has recently awarded EPAS accreditation to three new programmes from business schools from Australia, France and the United Kingdom.
