The PRME Secretariat issued in September a Call to Action a call to action to business schools and management-related Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in response to the refugee crisis. CEEMAN as the PRME Steering Committee Member believes action is urgent and invites CEEMAN members to join the call.

The 2015 CEEMAN Executive Education Forum took place on 5-6 November in Izmir, Turkey, hosted by the Izmir University of Economics and supported by IEDC-Bled School of Management and the Izmir Chamber of Commerce.

CEEMAN is delighted to announce that during CEEMAN ExEd Forum which was held in Izmir from 5-6 November 2015, Ural Federal University named after the First President of Russia B. N. Yeltsin (hereinafter: Ural Federal University) and CEEMAN signed the agreement on conducting CEEMAN accreditation. It is foreseen that the site visit to Ural Federal University, located in Ekaterinburg in Russia, will be held during the following year.

HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management will award three Fridtjof Nansen Memorial Scholarships specifically designed for refugees who wish to continue their education in Germany. The full scholarships for the two Master in Management programs (MBA and M.Sc.) are reminiscent of Fridtjof Nansen (1861-1930), who was awarded with the Nobel Peace Prize for his contribution to the international aid to refugees.

CEEMAN is delighted to announce that Riga International School of Economics and Business Administration (RISEBA) and EU Business School (with campuses in Geneva, Montreux, Barcelona and Munich,) have acquired International Quality Accreditation (IQA) status for additional six years. The awarding ceremony took place at the 23rd CEEMAN Annual Conference on 25 September 2015 in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

At the last CEEMAN Board meeting, held before the 23rd CEEMAN Annual Conference in Almaty, Kazakhstan, it was unanimously decided to invite Dr. Assylbek Kozhakhmetov to join the Board.
