Academy of Business has obtained a prize for Development of Education and Science in Kazakhstan, under unique reputational project Topzhargan founded by Exclusive analytical magazine and Eurasian Business Forum. The awards ceremony was held within the Eurasian Business Forum on April 17 and 18 in Almaty.

International research and practice conference entitled Internationalisation and Integration of Business Education: Principles and Opportunities, organised by International Academy of Business (IAB) jointly with the Russian Association of Business Education (RABE) and Central Asian Foundation for Management Development (CAMAN).

Thirty-six program managers and directors from 24 institutions in 14 countries (Finland, Germany, Hungary, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Ukraine and United Kingdom) attended the seminar and contributed to an inspiring and productive work and a very special spirit of professional understanding and personal friendship.

The eighth annual EU Business School Asia Commencement Ceremony was held, for the first time in Kota Kinabalu at the Shangri-la Tanjung Aru Resort & Spa on April 19, 2014.

Over 25 members of students and staff of International Academy of Business will join the Almaty Marathon Courage to be the First on 20 April. Nearly 150 people have been working for more than one year in order to produce the first international knowledge test on sustainable development. The “sustainability literacy test” is a multiple choice questionnaire of 50 online questions evaluating basic knowledge of sustainable development issues, and individual and corporate responsibility. At no charge for any student enrolled in a higher education institution, the test is designed to be used at any level (bachelor, master, MBA, PhD...) regardless of the type of study pursued (engineer, manager, lawyer, biologist, architect ...)

For the second year in a row, five students of UNYP won the prestigious CFA Research Challenge and will represent Czech Republic in the Regional European Finale in Italy in April.

On March 13, the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics and first Russian marketing department had the honor to host the world famous marketing guru – professor Philip Kotler. His visit to Plekhanov University of Economics happened because he knows the activities of Plekhanov marketing department in studying the evolution of Russian marketing thoughts, and also the investigation of professor Kotler’s impact on marketing development in Soviet Union and Russia.
