Prof. Danica Purg, CEEMAN president, was recognized by RISEBA University and awarded with a Professor Honoris Causa for advancement of business and management education in Central and Eastern Europe and other dynamic societies, instilling high educational standards by believing that only the best is good enough; for passionate promotion of responsible leadership, creative approach to education and, through her innovative concept of Art in Leadership that bases the strategic development on synergies between business and art.

We are pleased to announce that International Quality Accreditation was awarded to the School of Management at Zhejiang University (hereinafter: ZJU-SOM). This is the first management education institution in China that has acquired CEEMAN International Quality Accreditation. ZJU-SOM was also the first management education institution in China that gained AMBA accreditation (in 2006). At present, ZJU-SOM is accredited also by other two major international accreditation institutions (AACSB and EQUIS), and by domestic accreditation institution (CAMEA).

CEEMAN is very proud to announce that International Management Institute (hereinafter: MIM-Kyiv) has acquired International Quality Re-Accreditation status for additional six years. Apart from the national accreditation, MIM-Kyiv has been maintaining external accreditation practices since 2004 when the initial CEEMAN International Quality Accreditation (IQA) accreditation was awarded. MIM-Kyiv was re-accredited by CEEMAN in 2011, and in 2015 the MBA portfolio obtained AMBA initial accreditation.

On the occasion of the 4th Academy of International Business AIB-CEE Chapter Conference, hosted by the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Economics, CEEMAN awarded two IMTA scholarships for best paper and for highly commended paper.

EU Business School (EU) has signed a new agreement with La Universidad Católica de Murcia (UCAM) to offer state-recognized MBA programs. The agreement consolidates the partnership between both educational institutions, strengthening their ties and increasing the number of state-accredited programs available to students at EU Business School in Barcelona.

The 4th PRME CEE Chapter regional meeting took place at Prague University of Economics from 30 - 31 of August and gathered participants from Russia, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Slovenia, Czech Republic, and Latvia.
