It is a great honour for me to visit your highly reputable institution - to talk, but also to listen and learn. CSR is not just about "being good", but also about "being smart".I deeply believe in the capability of young people to understand that topic. As an 8 year old boy called Rembrandt told me the other day: "children go to school so that later they are adults to understand how to treat the planet," said Her Highness Princess Laurentien.

Princess Laurentien is the Vice-President of Fauna & Flora International, cooperates with World Wildlife Fund for Nature, European Climate Foundation, and has been a spokesperson for "Scouts for Climate" for the World Organization of the Scout Movement's initiative for COP15 in Copenhagen. She has founded the Missing Chapter Foundation, which focuses on intergenerational dialogue about sustainable development between business environment and youth.

The lecture was preceded by a meeting with Profesor Marek Gruszczyński, Vice-Rector for Research and International Relations, and Professor Adam Budnikowski, Dean of the Collegium of World Economy. HE Marcel Kurpershoek, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, also attended the event. Q&A session with students followed the lecture.

The event was organized by the Climate Coalition, Warsaw School of Economics and the Warsaw chapter of oikos International - students for sustainable economics and management.
