Roundtable on Management in Creative Industries at IMISP

The round table devoted to new educational program «Management in creative industries» has taken place at IMISP Business School. Participants of this event (famous heads of St.Petersburg’s creative spaces, museums and galleries, developers and heads of IMISP) discussed the development of creative economics and creative spaces in Russia. The educational program was also presented during the round table.

The round table meeting «Management in creative industries» has taken place at IMISP on 18th of May 2021. Speakers of this event were Pavel Prigara (head of “Manezh”, one of the most popular museums of modern art in St. Petersburg), Andrey Lushnikov (CEO of development company “Best”), Elena Plakhtiy (head of “Benua Art Garden” Gallery), Aleksander Solonin (Association of private clinics in St.Petersburg, CEO), Ekaterina Artyushkina (head of musical production center “Peterburgconcert”), Olga Cherdantseva (Russian Museum, keeper of gardens) and Olga Pavlovskaya (Expoforum International, Director of Projects).

Yaroslav Pavlov
(rector of IMISP), Svetlana Kuropatkina (producer in arts, head of “Management in creative industries” educational program) and Vladimir Kolchanov (IMISP lecturer, phD in economics, co-head of program) also took part in discussion. Journalists and representatives of St. Peterburg’s art industry also talked about their experience.

The program “Management in creative industries” combines the classical business education and art-education. Trainees gain knowledge in marketing, sales, business communication, general management. According to specialization, trainees are splitted in 3 groups: art-management, management of creative spaces and art production.
