Survey on changes in business competencies during Covid-19 crisis in Ukraine

KSE Business education held a survey among ukrainian managers and business owners regarding changes in business competencies during Covid-19 crisis.

80% of the Survey` respondents believe that the need for professional skills has changed due to the influence of Covid-19.

60% of the respondents are middle-level employees and 40% are business owners or top managers.

On the question "What are the reasons your company is not performing at the top of its abilities?" the majority of respondents answered that the reasons are “lack of soft skills”, “the general decline of the industry”, and "employees make the wrong decisions because of personal problems".

On the question "If you could, what would you do to increase your organization's productivity?" the participants choose the options to "learn industry best practices, use a similar approach", and "make sure employees significantly improve the development of the necessary competencies" won.

On the question “What competencies are really required for the success of your company?” Critical thinking was the undisputed leader among the other competencies. Also, comprehensive problem solving, coordination with others and customer focus.
