Iryna Tykhomyrova, MIM-Kyiv’s president shared the school’s experience of 2021 and its new International Leadership Program 2022 during the global Eduniversal World Convention 2021. This presentation confirmed MIM-Kyiv’s position as the best Ukrainian business school with 4 Palmes of Excellence.
During the event, she shared the school’s recipe for staying ahead. She said: “2021 is the year more normal than new. It is time to build on our achievements. For us, the virtual world is an instrument that brings new opportunities to study and socialize rather than a forced step.
Earlier this year MIM-Kyiv forged a new partnership in Tajikistan. MIM-Kyiv faculty taught leadership, delivery methods, and import-export fundamentals to two groups in Dushanbe. In mid-autumn, our students launched Business Learning Center Tajikistan.”

Inspiration and recharging are at the heart of the International Leadership Program presented to the EWC 21. This unorthodox program is a joint effort of MIM-Kyiv, BMDA (Baltic Management Development Association), and AGS (Adizes Graduate School). It combines academic parts enrooted in Adizes management theory and yachting. Due to the sailing part, the program participants could practice and test all their newly acquired knowledge and skills. It is efficient for mastering team-building and leadership skills.
“It is our joint project with the BMDA that builds on the theory developed by Ichak Adizes, our long-term partner and friend. After mastering the theory, the participants will practice the theory by sailing. It requires cohesion, shared goals, reliability, resilience, and both leadership and followership skills. In other words, it is everything that top managers do every day but in a different format. I am delighted to create a common environment with BMDA. Thus we can promote leadership skills development, international networking, and exchange of experience,” Prof. Tykhomyrova explained.
