This year's top three universities for full-time programs are UEHS, with 6,420 students, followed by SWPS University (5,825 students) and WSB Academy (4,976 students). For part-time programs, WSB Merito University in Poznań ranked first, the UEHS came in second, and WSB Merito University in Wrocław took third. The UEHS had 5,868 students in part-time studies.
According to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, student preferences for programs in the 2024/2025 academic year have remained stable. The most popular fields nationally include Psychology (nearly 40,000 applicants), Computer Science (35,716 applicants), and Medical Studies (28,685 applicants). Psychology overtook IT as the leading program, and Medical Studies rose in popularity, surpassing Management, which ranked third last year. Law rounded out the top 5 with 23,488 applicants.
At the UEHS, student preferences mirror national trends, with Psychology as the most popular program, followed by Management and Computer Science. Other popular choices include English Philology and mpance and Accounting.
The latest rankings show a significant increase in university applications, with over 20,000 more students admitted compared to last year. Despite demographic challenges, these trends highlight Poland's continued appeal as a destination for higher education.
