Building on the success of two previous cohorts, the Women Leadership Program, created jointly by MIM Business School and IMD, has launched its third edition. It brings together women who are stepping forward to lead businesses, communities, and public institutions as Ukraine rebuilds, ready to turn their own projects into lasting change.

MIM Business School has officially launched the third cohort of the Women Leadership Program, a joint initiative with the Institute for Management Development (IMD, Lausanne, Switzerland), ranked first in Executive Education by the Financial Times. The program is supported by the Responsible Reconstruction Fund.

The program's popularity continues to grow: the admissions committee received 600 applications, of which 270 were selected for the competition after a two-stage evaluation.

The program is aimed at developing women leaders in business, the public sector, government administration, and veteran entrepreneurship. This year saw a significant increase in participants from the business sector, showing that companies seek a more active role in public initiatives and in the reconstruction of Ukraine.

At the heart of the program is learning by doing approach. Each participant brings a real project of her own and develops it over the course of the program with the support of personal coaching, blended learning, and interactive materials, culminating in a final defense. This year, a dedicated module on responsible reconstruction invites participants to think about rebuilding in a way that puts people, the environment, and the economy first. The new cohort is also welcomed into a growing community: the newly created Women Leadership Program Council brings together graduates of previous years, who pass on their experience and advice to those now beginning the journey.

Today, leadership in Ukraine matters more than ever. With many men defending the country in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it is women who are stepping forward to lead businesses, communities, and public institutions. The program guides them on this path, giving their leadership structure, depth, and an international dimension, drawing on international experience tailored to the Ukrainian context. Every decision participants make within the program serves not only their own growth but the development of the country as a whole. What they gain stays with them for life: a network of connections, mutual support, and mentorship, the confidence to create new opportunities in times of uncertainty, and a stronger voice for Ukraine on the international stage.

Through this program, MIM Business School reaffirms its role as a bridge between world-class education and Ukraine's future, helping the women who lead today become the leaders who will rebuild the country tomorrow.
