At the turn of July and August, the Polish Ministry of Education and Science announced the results of the evaluation of the quality of scientific activity of higher education entities in Poland. The evaluation covered the scientific activity of universities in 2017-2021 and was aimed at awarding them scientific categories as a part of activities carried out in individual scientific disciplines.
The University of Economics and Human Sciences is pleased to announce that as a result of the above-mentioned evaluation, all disciplines in which we conducted research activities have achieved the high scientific category of B +. Thanks to the positive results, our university obtained full academic privileges, and thus the possibility of awarding doctoral and postdoctoral degrees in social sciences in four disciplines:
• Economics and Finance,
• Law,
• Political science and Administration,
• Psychology
The evaluation of the Polish Ministry of Education and Science was based on criteria related to the scientific achievements of the academic staff working at our university. The financial effects of the conducted research and development works, as well as the impact of scientific activity on the functioning of society and the economy, were also taken into account.
