The International Classroom is an UEHS' interdisciplinary cyclical event, where prominent people related to science and business with extensive experience, share they expertise during lectures aimed at students of all faculties as well as academic staff. It allows free exchange of ideas between cultures and prepare participants for the global labor market.

The International Classroom is a place where diverse perspectives create a change. It is tailored as a cornerstone of UEHS internationalisation strategy. The project embraces the idea of developing and enhancing intercultural competence of an academic staff and students within the international academic and business framework.

This means an opportunity for all students to engage in purposeful interactions with different ideas and diverse people to develop and demonstrate a comprehensive approach and attitude to other people, developing own personality and career as well as to enhance the ability to become a changemaker. For an academic staff on the other hand, it serves as a platform to exchange ideas, find research partners, and broaden professional networks.

The International Classroom allows the students and academic staff to meet outstanding people who are related to the academia, business, or non-profit activities to broaden their perspectives, participate in brainstorming discussions, and then go and change the world!

On November 24th, 2022, in the main hall of the University of Economics and Human Sciences, the first International Classroom lecture was held. The students had the opportunity to learn about the tools useful in teamwork and communication between group members, as well as take part in a discussion on VR technology and its use in the future.

On January 23rd, 2023, Dr. Alenka Braček Lalić will hold an inspiring lecture entitled: "What is Psychological Safety and why is it the key to creativity?"
