The Polish-Ukrainian WOLSKA CENTRE for Ukrainians was established thanks to the joint effort of people from within and outside the walls of University of Economics and Human Sciences in Warsaw.
Among others, the contributors and organizers list comprises of: Director of the Wolski Cultural Centre - Krzysztof Mikołajewski, his deputy - Kamila Kozłowska, Rector of the UEHS, Dr. Hab. - Konrad Janowski, Mayor of Wola District - Krzysztof Strzałkowski, Deputy Mayor of Warsaw - Aldona Machnowska-Góra, Dean of the Faculties of Political Science and Administration and Law of AEH - Tomasz Kownacki and many others „invisible” workers (without whom this project will not be possible).

In these difficult times, each of them contributed to the opening of the Centre, which had already helped and will continue to do so for those in need. Any Ukrainians, who were made to flee their homes, can come here and receive necessary support.

The Centre range of help includes (but not limited to):

 Information point for residents and refugees:
– language assistance
– help with translation of documents
– help in finding contacts to aid and charity institutions
– help with administrative matters

 Legal aid on-call service
 Activities for children
 Activities/meetings for adults
 Computer workstations with Ukrainian language
 On-call psychological support

They express great honour and mention that the students of UEHS also actively helped the Centre as volunteers too and that is virtually impossible to name every single task that had been complete by them in the attempt to render assistance to those who sought piece outside their home country.
