WSB-NLU consistently develops international cooperation, focusing on initiatives that bring tangible benefits to students and academic staff - in particular through student and staff mobility as well as double diploma programmes. Since the beginning of 2026, the University has signed several new Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with partners from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan: Alikhan Bokeikhan University, Almaty Technological University, Turan University, TURAN International University, MAMUN University, and Westminster International University in Tashkent. At the same time, several further agreements are currently being prepared.
One of the key areas of cooperation involves agreements enabling student exchange. Such partnerships support academic mobility, broaden educational experience, and allow students to complete part of their studies in an international environment - both through outgoing mobility and by hosting incoming students at WSB-NLU. From the University’s perspective, it is essential that exchange programmes provide real opportunities for developing skills, including language and intercultural competencies, as well as building networks within the academic community.
At the same time, WSB-NLU is expanding cooperation in the area of staff mobility, including teaching and training visits, study visits, and delivering courses for students at partner universities (also in an online/live format). Staff exchange encourages the sharing of good practices, strengthens the quality of education, and enables the development of joint teaching or project initiatives, including in the areas of new technologies and future-oriented skills.
Another important element of the partnerships being developed involves agreements related to double diploma programmes. Such solutions allow students to obtain diplomas from two universities within one educational pathway, significantly increasing their competitiveness on the labour market and enhancing the attractiveness of their graduate profile. WSB-NLU is open to developing cooperation models that make it possible to implement double diploma programmes in a clear and mutually beneficial way, with transparent rules regarding programme delivery, recognition of learning outcomes, and the graduation process.
WSB-NLU views internationalisation as a long-term process based on stable, partnership-oriented relations. The agreements being developed form the foundation for further initiatives: joint teaching modules, seminars, research and educational projects, and above all, real opportunities for mobility and international learning for students and staff.
The new WSB-NLU partners include:

- Almaty Yechnological University (Kazachstan)
- Turan University (Kazachstan),
