WUEB at the 30th Economic Forum: Europe in Search of Leadership

The 30th Economic Forum, organized by the Institute of Eastern Europe Foundation, was held on September 7-9, 2021 in Karpacz, Lower Silesia, Poland. The Forum’s mission is to create a favored climate for the development of political and economic cooperation between EU member states and their neighbors. This year, one of the Forum's partners was the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business.

Organized for the thirtieth time by the Institute of Eastern Europe Foundation, the Economic Forum held in Karpacz, 7th-9th September 2021, is a meeting place for economic and political groups from Central and Eastern Europe. Each year the discussions concentrate on a different motto. In 2021, it is "Europe in Search of Leadership". The Forum's guests come from over 60 countries in Europe, Asia and America. The Forum’s mission is to create a favourable climate for the development of political and economic cooperation between EU member states and their neighbours.

During the 30th Economic Forum in the Lower Silesia Zone, a stand of the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business was opened. We have created a place conducive to the exchange of views and contacts, where the offer of cooperation with the WUEB was also presented. The stand was attended by specialists who provided information about the offer and possibilities of cooperation with our university.

The WUEB stand was also visited by exceptional guests. In the zone of the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business there were, among others: Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Cezary Przybylski, director of the Lower Silesian Intermediate Body Jacek Ilnicki, former Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia in Poland Edgar Ghazaryan, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly Zsolt Németh, Rector of the University of Economics in Katowice prof. dr hab. inż. Celina M. Olszak and the President of the Polish Economic Society, prof. dr hab. Elżbieta Mączyńska.

The scientists of the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business took part in several thematic panels of the 30th Economic Forum in Karpacz, including:
