The "Sustainable Development Industry-Academia Research Forum & ZIBS Global Corporate Consulting Project Summary Conference" co-hosted by ZIBS and the Zhejiang Western Returned Scholars Association (ZWRSA) was successfully concluded on April 25. During the forum, ZIBS joined hands with top international and domestic universities and enterprises, officially launched the "GCCP Initiative" and announced the establishment of the "GCCP Committee." This conference brought together nearly 150 participants worldwide, bridging academic frontiers with industrial practices to jointly drive cross-disciplinary knowledge exchange and foster collaborative innovation in the global business ecosystem, injecting international expertise into China's industrial ESG transformation. Message from Dean

At ZIBS, we are deeply committed to shaping the future of business education. We aspire to cultivate business leaders who are not solely focused on generating profits but who are equally dedicated to making a positive and lasting impact on society and the environment.

How do we foster technological advancement while ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks? How can we reconcile the pursuit of profit with the commitment to environmental and social responsibility? These are the pressing questions we aim to address. As a tech-innovation-driven global business school, ZIBS is committed to cultivating comprehensive talents for regulated industries through its three strategic pillars of globalization, digital intelligence, and ecosystem-driven development. Young Leaders

Recently, the delegation of ZIBS 2025 Young Leaders Program (YLP) participated the HSBC Global Investment Summit 2025 (GIS 2025) in Hong Kong and the global fintech summit Money 20/20 in Bangkok, Thailand. Participants actively engaged in the summits throughout, conducting in-depth learning exchanges with senior executives from HSBC and other companies, thereby broadening their global perspectives and deepening industry insights. The Hong Kong and Bangkok trips are the YLP program's attempts to reach out to the cutting edge of the industry and create more practical opportunities for the participants.

Industry-Education Integration

From April 13th to April 16th, Dean of ZIBS and Chairman of Zhejiang Association for Financial Technology (ZAFT) BEN Shenglin, and QU Qingchao, National Committee Member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Dean of the China Market Entity Research Institute at Capital University of Economics and Business, led the ZIBS "China-ASEAN" Industry-Education Integration Research Delegation on specialized research in Beihai City, Guangxi. The delegation engaged in in-depth exchanges on talent development, financial research and industry, and Zhejiang merchants' investment in ASEAN. LI Li, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, and LV Yongjiang, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor and Director of the Organization Department, respectively attended relevant research and discussion activities.

Expanding Horizons in LATAM

From April 4th to April 12th, ZIBS delegation successfully visited Brazil and Peru, and focused on international student recruitment while conducting academic exchanges, talent selection, and building cooperation networks in the LATAM regions through visiting to prestigious universities and commercial organizations and hosting international recruitment fairs, further advancing ZIBS educational cooperation layout in this strategic region. 

AI Innovation Empowering Tomorrow

The ZIBS Alumni Association Spring Event-DeepSeek was successfully held on April 15th at the International Campus. This event was organized by ZIBS and carried out by ZIBS Executive Education Center, Continuing Education Center at the ZJU College of Computer Science and Technology and Hi Academy. Through cutting-edge thematic sharing and in-depth interaction, we aim to explore new opportunities for the development of artificial intelligence in the era.
